A NFL draft unlike any other

A Draft unlike any other...
What would have been a grand spectacle in Las Vegas with the iconic Bellagio fountains in what would have been a fantastic backdrop for the 2020 draft to all the sudden becoming an unusual and unprecedented draft where the players stay at home in quarantine as they hear their names being called at home.  There will be no walking on a stage, no hugging the commissioner, no crowd, and no watch parties for any of the teams in this years draft.  This years draft in just about every way possible is different from any other NFL Draft, in times where we have to be resilient and work together as a race to get through these tough times we have been going through for the past month.  But even as all of this chaos happens throughout our planet, there is nothing about this draft that will change it from any other, the stage will be as big as ever, the stakes are still high as always, and when the names are called, the players will still get that once in a lifetime call by an NFL coach, saying that they have been drafted, and players will still get that opportunity that every football player at any level of the game they dream of their entire lives.  Even as this draft is unlike any other, the stage is still as big as always.
Be sure to watch the draft today at 8 pm eastern time on ESPN, NFL Network, ABC, or ESPN deportes.

NFL Draft to be fully remote in 2020

The 2020 NFL draft to be fully remote Heston Curry     4/9/2020 The NFL draft in 2020 will not take place in Las Vegas like many were hoping for.  Instead, the draft will literally take place not in war rooms and a stage, but NFL owners living rooms and homes with of course representatives in NFL team war rooms.  For draft preparations, the NFL is preparing to start a pre draft mock draft to test internet networks for the upcoming draft.  But the hope watching Joe Burrow get drafted first overall in front of a large crowd in Las Vegas sadly enough is not going to be a sight at the draft.

The no call: A deep rewind

The no call, a little more than a year later... Heston Curry   4/14/20 Back in 2019, at the Marcedes-Benz superdome, we saw one of the worst no calls personally I have ever seen.  A uncalled pass interference call that would have given the Saints the ball at the 5 yard line, a new set of downs and with the Rams only having one timeout left, the Saints would have been able to run out the clock before scoring and leaving the Rams possibly only enough time for maybe a hail mary.  Even to this day I am pretty sure we all wonder to this day, what if the refs did call pass interference?  Well here is a full timeline from the NFC title game to the super bowl based on my opinion and possible prediction starting from that call to how I think it would have affected the super bowl. We will at first start with the penalty, the Rams are charged with the penalty and the Saints move up 10 yards because of the penalty getting the ball at the 3 yard line with more than a minute to kill, Saints

The Winston question

The Winston question By: Heston Curry  2/27/2020 In 2015, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers used their first overall pick to draft quarterback Jameis Winston out of Florida State University.  At the time, many saw Jameis Winston as the future or the next big thing in the NFL.  5 years later, it is the post season of the NFL's 100th season and Jameis Winston is at the end of his contract.  In the 2019-2020 season, Winston led the league in passing yards, threw for 33 touchdowns and 30 interceptions and now a big question surrounds the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  Where will Jameis Winston go? As we all know, there are most likely going to be many teams in the NFL starting fresh with a new quarterback.  As it stands right now there will be 13 quarterbacks entering free agency from NFL rosters including Drew Brees, Phillip Rivers, and Tom Brady.  And in a time of total uncertainty all we can do is make speculations, so here are 3 NFL teams in my opinion that would take Jameis Winston on the
